Krista and Jeffrey planned a beautiful August ceremony in the Arbor gardens. Afterwards, they took full advantage of the outdoors for amazing photography.

Their cocktail hour included hot chafing dishes of fried calamari with spicy marinara, barbecued short ribs, sesame chicken and broccoli, and sausage, peppers and onions. They chose a wok stir fry station, a fajita station, and a shish kabob station with beef teriyaki, garlic ginger chicken, and tequila-lime shrimp. Many more selections had their guests trying everything.

Dinner was served in the Jefferson Ballroom, where guests could choose from Birchwood’s signature prime rib au jus, chicken Marsala, or grilled salmon with a tarragon, shallot, white wine cream sauce.

For dessert, Krista and Jeffrey chose a custom baked wedding cake from our bakery – chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate pudding and cream cheese frosting. It was displayed on a silver pedestal and decorated with delicate white spray roses and ruscus greenery. A personalized cake topper depicting their favorite sport was placed on top.
